If you weren't able to utilize one of the plethora of ways to follow our game last night, you missed a barn burner against the Manitowoc Bandits. It took 3.5 hours and 12 innings and Manitowoc came away with the 5-4 win.
The Bandits took a 1-0 lead after the first inning. Branch put up two in the third, and one in the sixth and seventh to go up 4-1. Manitowoc strung together a bunch of hits in the eighth to score three runs and tie the game. In the 12th, they brought in the winning run with a bases loaded walk.
The Blaze offense had 19 batters reach safely, led by
Josh LaFleur
who had three hits and a walk. Branden Mueller and Hunter Chalupny had two hits a piece and
Hunter Saubert
and Bryce Urbanek each added a double.
AJ Lorrigan
started and went 9 innings giving up 4 runs, 2 earned, and Bryce Henninger took the loss in relief.
