Bandits won a thriller Monday night over Algoma 6-5. The Bandits trailed 5-4 entering the bottom of the ninth. Mike Ruzek started the inning flying out to deep, deep center. Shad Hintz then started the three hit two run rally with a single. Chris Rohr then singled and AJ Dollinger came up to the plate and smashed a walk-off double to the left center fence and score Rohr to win the game. Mike Ruzek pitched all nine innings with 14 strikeouts. The Bandits are back in action Wednesday night at 7:30pm at Municipal hosting the Menasha Macs in a non-league contest before the 4th of July break.

The Manitowoc Bandits won a barnburner at Denmark Friday night 14-8. The Bandits took an early lead with 4 runs in the top of the first inning capped off by a base clearing double by Aj Dollinger. Aj then added another 2 RBI in the second inning and had a Home Run in the top of the ninth. For the day Aj was 3-4 with a HR, 2B, and 6 RBI. Bandits plated 4 runs in the 3rd and another 3 in the ninth. Denmark closed the gap to 7-5 in the bottom of the second and added 3 more in the fourth for their runs. Lucas Mandich got the mound win throwing 5 innings and Earl Vorpagel got the save throwing the last 4. Mandich was 3-4 with 2RBI, Jake Woolsey was 2-5, Robert Shimek was 3-5 and Adam Diedrich was 3-4 with a double. The Bandits next game is a non-league game at Menasha on Tuesday June 22 at 7:15pm at Koslo Park.

The Manitowoc Bandits won Wednesday night at Little Chute 6-5. The Bandits scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning capped off by a 2 RBI base hit by Ben Coons. The bandits then scored four more in the 4th inning with Ben Coons drawing a bases loaded walk and situational hitting from Earl Vorpagel and Shad Hintz plated a run each. Luke Lucas Mandich had a two out RBI hit to cap off the inning. Noah Jacquart got the mound win throwing a complete game with 9 K’s and scattered 4 hits. The Bandits travel to Denmark on Friday at 7:30pm for a Shoreland League contest.
