A's and Bandits Lose a Close Friend

The Manitowoc Bandits offer its condolences to the family of Chuck Zeichert who passed away Monday afternoon, February 15th, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  For those of us who knew Chuck, he will be missed.  Chuck was always smiling when you met him, especially when he was announcing games in Sheboygan.  His smirk let you know he knew darn well he didn't pronounce some of our names right, but hey, the game was in Sheboygan and its called home field advantage.  Now he announces for the Angels instead of the A's.
