Bandits Roll in Playoff Preview

The Bandits defeated the DePere RiverBandits 10-0 on Friday night in the last NEWBL regular season game to finish at 17-7 and tied with Menasha for second place. The Bandits will host the same DePere club in the first round of the playoffs which start Monday at Municipal Field at 7:30. Since DePere doesn't have lights, they will play game two in Manitowoc with DePere as the home team before playing game three, if necessary, with Manitowoc once again as the home team.
Greg Herr pitched a complete game with four strikeouts and no walks over seven innings to pick up his fifth win of the season.
