Lombard Sweeps Weekend

The Lombard Orioles wrapped up their visit to Manitowoc by winning two slugfests with the Bandits by scores of 14-8 and 13-9. The Bandits offense was able to put up runs all day but the Lombard Orioles were able to put up a few more off a depleted Bandits pitching staff. A strong wind out to right field helped the Bandits accumulate eight doubles and a pair of homers on the day but it wasn't enough. Brock Wetenkamp recorded a Grand Slam in first game while Nat Richter hit a two run shot in game two.
The Bandits are off on Monday before hosting the Sheboygan A's on Tuesday.
